The theme of this solo exhibition is "Love - Compassion." After nearly 25 years of working as a calligrapher and transcending ambitions and self-imposed limitations, the artist has reached a state of "love and compassion."
This exhibition will showcase and sell over 140 diverse works, spanning multiple genres, all inspired by this universal theme of love. The exhibition will feature "Foil," which evokes the tension and tranquility of gold leafing using Kanazawa's gold leaf craftsmanship. "Echizen," made with Echizen washi, a paper with a 1400-year history. And "Artworks," inspired by nature and the cosmos.
From traditional calligraphy to vibrant contemporary art, the exhibition will fill the venue with works and the concept of "love."
The artist expresses a desire for visitors to feel a large, compassionate "love" as wide and gentle as an enveloping cloud.
