The popular annual "Summer Night Tea Ceremony" has been held repeatedly under the themes of "In Praise of Shadows" "The Beauty of Yugen” "Seizan Hakuun (Immovable mountain & moving cloud)" and "The Phantom of the Tea Room". This year's theme is “Ko-un, Ryu-sui” and a wide variety of works by talented artists will be gathered under one roof. The venue will be adorned with vibrant floral arrangements by Shoshun Yamada, a flower master. On the first day, a “Sermon Tea Ceremony" will be held by Tatsuo Yoshida, vice-chief priest of Banryu-ji Temple of the Jodo sect, On the second day, Tatsuro Sasaki will hold a sake-tasting event featuring seasonal sake and sake vessels made by artists.
