Taizo Kuroda
Known for his serene white porcelain works, Taizo Kuroda has many celebrity fans. He is a world-class artist not only for his work but also for his charming personality and his particular sense of beauty in life. In addition to his exquisite work, which has been described as zen-like, there are many cute and colorful aspects of Taizo Kuroda's life.
The book "Colorful" (Precog Studio) which introduces life’s events and contemplations superimposed with Kuroda’s words, was created before his death based on interviews and photography conducted over about 18 months starting from the end of 2019.
Using the book as a foundation, this exhibition explores the roots of Taizo Kuroda's aesthetic sense of "I can't help living with what I love," and introduces his timeless and timeless appeal as a human being along with his white porcelain works.
