Takahiro Koga
The Warring States Period and the Azuchi-Momoyama Period. While these periods saw the emergence of flamboyant and eccentric works of art that seemed to express the supremacy of warlords surviving in turbulent times, there was also an aesthetic sense of "wabi-sabi" that was deepened through the tea ceremony.

Takahiro Koga's new work, “Neo Wabi-Sabi," fuses these two contradictory aesthetic sensibilities: the dynamic, glittering designs of the tea ceremony and Rikyu's appreciation of the static simplicity of the tea ceremony. The works combine flamboyant and powerful expressions with the culture of the tea ceremony and the Rikyu way of thinking.

As an encouragement to the generals who survive in today's business scene, Koga has presented lucky charms such as "beckoning cats," which attract people and money, and "dharma," a seven-fold turn of the wheel that brings good fortune. These have continued to support modern warlords.
