Tokyo Olympia is a work that serves as a sequel to the iconic work Tokyo Suburbia (1998). During more than six years, Takashi Homma captured the ever-changing urban landscapes of Tokyo, such as the Tokyo Olympics and the relocation of Tsukiji Market to Toyosu, alongside timeless cityscapes. All of these images have been compiled into one book.
The exhibition features reinterpretations of Homma's photographs by a group of designers. The participating designers include Shun Ishizuka, Toru Kase, Aiko Koike, Yutaro Yamada, Natsuko Yoneyama, and Asuka Wakita. They have created collages of the works featured in Tokyo Olympia.
