Takeomi Sakoda
Glass artisan Takeomi Sakoda, who continues his research focusing on the restoration of ancient glass, serves as the Chief Technical Officer at Kurashiki University of Science and Arts. He has successfully restored numerous precious cultural artifacts, including national treasures and objects from the Shōsō-in repository, as well as glass bowls held by the British Museum. His achievements in restoring these artifacts are highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally.

In this exhibition, the results and milestones of his invaluable restoration work spanning a quarter-century will be showcased. Enjoy this exhibition in the luminous spaces designed by Tadao Ando.
