Takuji Nishita
The "Court Installation" series presents installations utilizing courtyard space. This 20th installment features a new work by Takuji Nishita (b. 1983) titled "Lost Treasure," which uses stacked yellow plastic containers to evoke castle and crown imagery. Nishita's use of colorful consumer products reflects a childhood quest for "lost treasure" and symbolizes the artist's everyday life of repetition. The exhibition provides an opportunity to experience Nishita's colorful and pop-themed artistic world and to explore insights into consumer society and childhood memories embedded within it.
