The Tanga Battery Ruins, located on the Tsurumi Peninsula in Saiki City, Oita Prefecture, a war relic site, will be opened at night for an art exhibition featuring works by 10 artists.

This initiative is not privately organized but is sponsored by the local government (Saiki City Tsurumi Promotion Bureau | Tsurumi Regional Revitalization Support Council). It is part of a reframing project that involves fieldwork with private creators, artists, architects, and regional revitalization designers, along with significant cooperation from residents. The essence of reframing is not to change the thing itself but to create new value by changing the perspective.
