Art Factory Tasko seeks to further energize Japanese craftsmanship. This exhibition is an opportunity to discover the charm of creativity whilst experiencing the unique perspectives and ideas of Tasko works in a variety of ways that utilize all five senses.

Based on the concept of "a museum of encounters and the five senses," the Oita Prefectural Art Museum is an art museum open to the city, located in the center of Oita City. Designed by world-renowned architect Shigeru Ban, it features an impressive exterior that evokes the traditional Oita craft of bamboo art and open atrium space for everyone to enjoy. The museum holds permanent collection exhibitions of work by artists associated with Oita, such as nanga painter Chikuden Tanomura, nihonga artist Heihachiro Fukuda, sculptor Fumio Asakura, and bamboo craftsman Shounsai Ikuno, as well as unique self-produced exhibitions based on various "encounters" about four times a year. The museum also has a free space with exhibits, a café, and a museum store where visitors can easily come into contact with art.
