Akio Nagasawa Gallery Ginza is proud to present the "Revive Time: Kaki Tree Project," an art initiative highlighting peace and life through the distribution of saplings from the second generation of the kaki tree that survived the atomic bombing of Nagasaki in 1945. These saplings are shared with children around the globe and nurtured through art centered on the kaki tree. Led by Tatsuo Miyajima, the project includes a bronze sculpture displayed at the United Nations headquarters and features works by various artists addressing historical tragedies. The exhibition will explore the revival of the kaki tree and its worldwide impact, with video works from Italy and interactive pieces where visitors can leave messages of peace. Additionally, talks and workshops will be conducted throughout the exhibition.
