120 years have passed since Okakura Kakuzo published "The Ideals of the East" in 1903. The book presents an image of Asia's religious and cultural unity, focusing on the influence and relationship between Japanese art history and Chinese and Indian art history. We will be displaying a wide variety of Japanese paintings with Asia in their subject matter at the exhibition, which will focus on the collection of the he Museum of Modern Art, Ibaraki.
