Teruko Kiga
Teruko Kiga, a flower arrangement artist and craftsperson from Ichikawa City, creates craft bonzai while following the classical way of arranging flowers. The classical art of ikebana (flower arrangement), in which the removal of unnecessary objects from natural forms produces a profound expression, and the craft of bonsai, in which countless parts are meticulously assembled to create the dignified appearance of plants and trees out of nothing, continue to stimulate the artist's creative process.
