Kikuchi Biennale XI The Present of Ceramics

Kikuchi Kanjitsu Memorial Tomo Museum
Until Mar 22
Kikuchi Biennale is a ceramic competition, held once every two years since 2004, at Kikuchi Kanjitsu Memorial Tomo Museum. For over 20 years, Tomo Museum has been dedicated to promoting contemporary ceramics from the capital city of Japan, Tokyo, and organizing this ceramic competition has been a significant part of this mission.

In this 11th Kikuchi Biennale, a total of 452 works were submitted for the competition (deadline on June 30th, 2025) and after going through two examination stages of image and physical, 46 artworks (including the 5 prizewinners) were selected for the Biennale exhibition. In Kikuchi Biennale, we accept ceramic artworks worldwide, regardless of the content of the works or the qualifications of the participants, in order to observe the present of ceramics.
