The third exhibition of the 40th Anniversary of the Mie Prefectural Art Museum is "Okada Beisanjin and Hanko." This is Beisanjin Okada (1744-1820), a representative late-Edo period literati painter closely associated with Mie Prefecture, and Okada's son Hanko (1782-1846)'s first exhibition in nearly half a century. There are 94 works and documents on display, including a cultural property and two important art objects. There will be many works exhibited for the first time in Mie Prefecture.
