To commemorate the "100 Selections of Japanese Nature to Preserve into the 21st Century," initiated by Asahi Shimbun in 1983, this photo contest marks its 41st year. The theme is "Japan's Nature to Preserve Forever." In the Print Category, which accepts print submissions, 70 works, including the "Grand Prize," were selected from 5,021 entries. Additionally, in the Digital Category for web submissions, 32 works were chosen from 8,237 entries, including the "Grand Prize Sony 4K Award" and the "Sony Next Photographer Award," targeted at applicants under 30 years old.
