The Bride's Stories is a story about beautiful brides that Smith, an English traveler in Central Asia in the mid-19th century, met in various places. It was serialized in 2008 by popular manga artist Kaoru Mori and, its captivating characters and storyline, beautifully detailed drawings, and vivid portrayal of the culture and lifestyle of the Central Asian country where the story takes place made it very popular with a wide range of fans. More than 100 color and black-and-white manuscripts of this manga, many of which are handwritten by Kaoru Mori, will be exhibited in this exhibition.
