Insho Domoto
Japanese Nihon-ga painter, Domoto Insho (1891-1975) had eight siblings. His eldest brother was a critic of classical performing arts, his second eldest brother was a lacquer artist, and his brothers-in-law were Nihon-ga painters, making it an artistic family. The exhibition will introduce works by family members as well as Insho’s masterpieces which were painted using his sisters as models.
