The relationships between Yumeji Takehisa (1884-1934), a painter who symbolized Taisho Romanticism, and his contemporaries emerged and added color to Taisho culture.

This exhibition introduces the literary figures, painters, musicians, publishers, and lovers who were involved with Yumeji, and through the display of work and materials related to each person, takes a close look at the beauty and words that resulted from their interactions. The exhibition will also explore the true face of Yumeji through episodes with these people.
