Strandbeest (strand: beach, beest: life form)" was born from the idea of a life form that grows wild on the beach and protects the shoreline by rolling up sand to solve the problem of sea level rise. The work of Theo Jansen (1948-), who crosses the boundaries between science and art, will be introduced.
