YOD Editions is pleased to present “TIDES OF CHANGE – Exploring Contrasts in Ocean Conservation”, a collaborative group exhibition with the non-profit organization PangeaSeed.
(*This exhibition is a traveling exhibition of the one held at YOD TOKYO in October 2024.)

PangeaSeed is the only organization dedicated to producing art to restore the world’s oceans. Founded in 2010, it is an innovator in the ocean conservation movement, leveraging the influence of contemporary art and the power of creativity to solve urgent environmental threats. Through art and music events around the world, the PangeaSeed continues to deliver its message on ocean conservation.

A total of 29 local and international artists from all over Japan, Brazil, US, New Zealand and South Africa will present works in this exhibition, focusing on various issues affecting the oceans of Japan and the world. All the works exhibited are original pieces created specifically for this exhibition. Using the oceans, to which the artists themselves are connected, the exhibition highlights key issues in the oceans through dichotomies such as problems versus solutions, and past versus future.
