Launched in July 2023, Tokyo Gendai presents leading contemporary art galleries from Japan, the wider Asia-Pacific region and around the world.

Taking place in one of the most dynamic and active art and design scenes in the world, Tokyo Gendai is an exciting platform for commercial, artistic and intellectual exchange, and a nexus of cross-cultural discovery. The fair is accompanied by an extensive VIP Program, as well as a robust lineup of private events across Japan, providing a means for deeper connection with Japan’s art community.

The third edition of Tokyo Gendai will take place from 12 – 14 September 2025 (VIP Preview and Vernissage on 11 September) at PACIFICO Yokohama.

PACIFICO Yokohama, which is located in the waterfront area of the Minato Mirai 21 district, a new town in Yokohama, is one of the largest convention complexes in the world.
