Tokyo Streets is back at Gallery Conceal May 21st - 26th featuring the compelling work of over 30 talented photographers. Building on our success from the last show we are happy to announce the inclusion of Roman Fox, Faizal Westcott and Erin Sarigul. They each bring their own unique style of street and travel photography to the show and we are thrilled to have them exhibit in Tokyo.
Our aim at Tokyo Streets is to highlight the myriad of different perspectives on Tokyo and Japan from both local and international photographers, using both film and digital cameras to bring their artistic visions to life. Explore each photographer’s unique viewpoint and gain insights into their creative processes by engaging with them in person at the gallery.
We are excited to have a dedicated gallery featuring a collective project entitled ‘Floating Moments’, a journey through urban life. We are hosting a documentary film night on Wednesday 22nd featuring work from local and international short filmmakers. On Friday 24th there will be a photo walk hosted by the participating photographers, of the surrounding local area in Shibuya. The reception party will be held on the evening of Saturday 25th from 7 pm - 11 pm featuring DJs playing soul, funk and hip-hop.
Visit Gallery Conceal at the end of May for an enriching journey into the artistry of photography.
