"Tsukurikake Lab" is an artist project that creates spaces through open production and workshops based on themes such as "enjoying with the five senses," "touching materials," or "starting communication." It's a participatory and experiential project where anyone, anytime, can enjoy the continuously evolving creative process and engage with art.

For the 14th edition, Keiko Arai, a visual artist based in Chiba Prefecture and active in Funabashi, has partnered with handmade washi (Japanese paper) and ink of various colors to create works that embrace the unique characteristics of each material. In this project, a Japanese-style space will emerge within the museum, enveloped in the warmth and flexibility of handmade washi, inviting visitors to enjoy its texture and savor the essence of ink dancing on the surface of white paper.
