Uzo Hiramastu
Uzo Hiramatsu describes the act of painting as "improvisation with the world," and he creates work that looks like events through an impromptu dialogue with the otherness (=unconsciousness) inherent in himself, as well as with external elements such as the environment and chance. This process is not only an attempt to suspend the authoritative subject of the "artist" but also to incorporate into his paintings a sense of beauty that transcends human artifice.

Among these works, this exhibition will feature a series of ink paintings at Haku Kyoto and a series of semi-figurative paintings with floral motifs at Kokyu Kyoto
