The Wave exhibition, which has been held since 2018 as a large-scale exhibition transcending the realms of art and graphic art, toured Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, and London from 2021 to 2023, attracting a record-breaking attendance of over 50,000 people at each location. This exhibition has conveyed the current state and originality of the Japanese art scene.

Now, with the 6th edition taking place domestically in the exhibition "Wave 2023-24," the venue has been relocated to the Daikanyama Roof Museum. The exhibition will showcase works by 37 prominent figures, including artists such as Hiroshi Nagai, Kotao Tomosawa, Tadanobu Asano, Yu Nagaba, Hiro Sugiyama, Towa Tei, Motoyama Sora, and Keiichi Tanami, during the first phase known as "Wave Blue." The second phase, "Wave Yellow," will feature artworks from 20 artists predicting the future of Japanese art. The exhibition will run for approximately two months.
