KIDO Press is pleased to present “やっぱ君だ / It’s You After All”, Wisut Ponnimit’s (Tam-kun) first exhibition at KIDO Press in five years. This long-awaited exhibition marks his return after the pandemic.
Born in Thailand in 1976, Wisut Ponnimit, popularly known as “Tam-kun” in Japan, is active across multiple genres, including manga, animation, and music. His works continue to capture the hearts of many people with their simple yet profound messages.
For this exhibition, Ponnimit explores the theme of “taking time to appreciate our loved ones and ourselves.” The show features Hitokoto, a series of 15 small-sized drawings that evoke the sincerity of emotions we may have forgotten. Additionally, new lithographs created in collaboration with KIDO Press will also be on view.
