Paul Jacoulet
Originally from Paris, France, Paul Jacoulet went to Japan at the age of three and learned Japanese-style painting from Terukata Ikeda and Shoen Ikeda, the grandchildren and disciples of Yoshitoshi Tsukioka. The woodcuts Jacoulet created depict people of the South Seas and Asia. Featuring 162 new prints by Jacoulet in two parts, this exhibition offers a comprehensive look at the artist's work.
