At the Lurf Museum, artist Yohei Sugita's solo exhibition "The Deep: Dive into the Sea of Paint! ” will be held.
Yohei Sugita incorporates a variety of styles from abstract to figurative painting, making use of the characteristics of painting materials, and presents works that incorporate this into art from a unique perspective.
This exhibition provides an overview of the artist's creative activities up to the present, by displaying everything from his earliest distinctive works to his latest works. More than 30 new works will be presented, including works composed of three parts: "Flowers, Famous Paintings, and Animals and Plants," works that dissolve famous paintings, and three-dimensional works composed of blocks of paint that abstract animals and plants. On the first floor, in addition to original paintings, we will also be selling a limited number of reproduction prints. Please note that if you purchase a reproduction of the original painting and wish to do so, the artist himself will make any additions to it. Please enjoy the latest works created while exploring new possibilities of paint.
