Yoshikuni Iida
2023 commemorates the 100th anniversary of Yoshikuni Iida's birth. As part of the "101st Year Yoshikuni Iida Project" this year, we will reflect on the diverse works of Yoshikuni Iida, encompassing paintings, sculptures, and prints, as well as his roles as a poet and critic. The exhibition will showcase artworks and materials held by our institution. Following the display here, other museums nationwide, including the Ashikaga City Museum of Art in Tochigi, Iida's birthplace, will also feature special exhibitions highlighting Yoshikuni Iida's contributions.
