Kinkan Gallery is pleased to present Yoshimi Saito: Soft Wind from January 11 to February 2. Yoshimi Saito has been creating playful worlds inhabited by mysterious characters through mediums such as painting, animation, and ceramics. Her drawings, rendered with colored pencils, acrylics, and graphite in an unrestrained yet bold style, brim with humor and are suffused with a serene sense of compassion and joy that radiates outward. The worlds her characters inhabit may represent the utopia she pursues. While her recent work has focused primarily on ceramics, this exhibition will also feature her paintings and drawings.
