Yoshitoshi Kanemaki
Yoshitoshi Kanemaki has established a strong reputation both in Japan and abroad for his three dimensional works inspired by multi faced, multi armed Buddhist statues, as well as Cubism and Futurism. This exhibition, the artist's first solo show in two years, will present the largest sculpture created in his ongoing "Prism" series, which gives form to shifting self images and multi layered, intersecting self consciousness like a kaleidoscope.
