Artists

Yozo Ukita
Yozo Ukita edited the magazine "Kirin" in Osaka after World War II, focusing on children's poems and art. Encouraged by avant-garde artist Jiro Yoshihara, Ukita joined the Gutai Art Association but later left to manage a bag factory. Ukita's art career revived in the artist's 60s in Germany after a 20-year break. This exhibition primarily features the artist's later works, which reflect Ukita's lifelong pursuit of self-expression in today's fast-paced information age.
