Yuji Moriguchi
In commemoration of the publication of Yuji Moriguchi's art book "Rakuen," we will hold Yuji Moriguchi's solo exhibition "It will surely clear up tomorrow." Yuji Moriguchi is one of the most active contemporary artists in Japan and overseas, and his works are highly acclaimed for their vivid colors, fine details, fantastic images and originality. Moriguchi's works, which evoke a sense of Japanese nostalgia and eroticism, offer a glimpse of his knowledge of modern culture, history, and mythology, as well as Japanese art such as ukiyo-e and Western art. Based on keywords such as fantasy, mystery, Showa, and eroticism, the story unfolds on the screen of the work, inviting the viewer to the gap between everyday life and fantasy.
In this exhibition, about 10 works including Yuji Moriguchi's latest works will be exhibited and sold under the theme of "a little misfortune and happiness in a calm life," in addition to the works published in the art book "Rakuen." In addition, we will pre-order the autographed book of Yuji Moriguchi's first art book "Paradise." Please take this opportunity to enjoy the world of Yuji Moriguchi's work.
