Yukino Ohmura is an up-and-coming young contemporary artist who draws dots of glittering urban nightscapes using round stickers. Light" as a symbol converted into round stickers fills the viewer's field of vision, creating unique works of art that traverse reality and fiction, realism and abstraction. Viewed from a distance, the works appear so realistic that it is hard to believe that they were drawn with round stickers, but up close, the intricately pasted flat stickers reveal their materiality, surprising the viewer with the gap between the two.
This exhibition features more than 50 works, including representative works known as "miraculous nightscapes," as well as new urban images, natural landscapes, flowers, and other works. During the exhibition period, a large-scale workshop work will also be exhibited, in which participants will work together to create a work based on the theme of Fukui's landscapes.
