Artists

Yuko Nagayama
Yuko Nagayama says, "The most important thing is to paint your picture. It should be free from anything. And, do not lie to yourself." From Nagayama's watercolor paintings, viewers can feel the abundance of color and energy, as well as the light, scent, and even the air of the moment.

When depicting flowers, Nagayama values capturing the most seasonally appropriate ones blooming naturally at that time. Interestingly, he mentions that sometimes the still-life motifs he hopes for mysteriously come from somewhere. His watercolor paintings, composed of these motifs, captivate the hearts of many.

This exhibition will display approximately 50 pieces, focusing on representative flower motifs along with still life, landscapes, and figures.
