The charm of Yuko Yoshioka's illustrations, who has been active since 2000, is the fashionable attention to detail and a worldview that evokes fragility and fantasy. The female figures depicted with a delicate touch and chic colors are the very embodiment of an adult woman's yearning.
In 2016, she co-authored a book entitled "Enjoying French with Pictures (Conversation Phrases)" (Gakken Plus), which became a turning point for her, and she has been expanding her activities year by year, acquiring techniques to depict a wider range of figures and men and women of all ages. In this solo exhibition, as the culmination of her activities as an illustrator for more than 20 years, she will exhibit several new works, mainly selected from his vast collection of past works.
