Yusuke Toda
Yusuke Toda was born in 1991 in Tokyo, Japan. He creates unique painting spaces centering on a black-and-white character named Yum.
In this solo exhibition, Yum is the center of the paintings, and everything Toda depicts is characterized by the character. Yum is depicted as an existence that stands between the past and the present, between the real and the virtual.
In addition to paintings, Toda will also exhibit rough sketches, which were well received at Taipei Dangdai (Harukaito by Island booth) held in May 2022.
