The Museum of Modern Art, Hayama (in abbreviated form, it is referred to as HAYAMA or the Hayama Museum) had been completed in march 2003 and had opened its doors in October the same year. As the museum's third building, it is a museum complex of the new generation, bestowed with an exhibition space equipped with the recent technology in lighting and air conditioning, an art library aiming to become the center for collecting documents and transmission of information, an auditorium equipped with multi-purpose audio-visual system and a state of the art storage space.

From Zushi Station on the JR Yokosuka line or Zushi・Hayama Station on the Keikyu line, take the Keikyu bus for 20 minutes and get off at Sangaoka / Kanagawa Kenritsu Kindai Bijutsukan Mae.
