This exhibition focuses on the Shinano Bridge Western Painting Institute, established in Osaka in 1924 by Narashige Koide, a Western-style painter with ties to Ashiya. It showcases the works and materials of about 20 artists who gathered at the institute, reexamining the learning environment and its influence on the Kansai Western painting scene.
