Horst Janssen
Horst Janssen (1929-1995) is one of the German representative artists of the 20th century. His outstanding talent was revealed while still in art school and he was described as "the first draughtsman since Durer."
By his 30's, he had already established his character as an artist with a strong personality. His life is a series of brawls, weddings, divorces and offspring punctuated by various prestigious awards.
In this exhibition, 40 works, original drawings as well as the print series "Danse Macabre", and "Laokoon" are on display.
