Paul Claudel
Paul Claudel, a leading French playwright and poet of the 20th century, was also an excellent diplomat who served to promote commercial and cultural ties between France and Japan during his tenure as French Ambassador to Japan. This exhibition displays his photographs taken between 1921 and 1927 during his stay in Japan.
