Institut français du Japon - Tokyo

The French Institute holds various events to promote cultural exchange between Japan and France. It holds exhibitions of both Japanese and French artists, from eight to ten times a year and for approximately four weeks each, with some works being exhibited in the garden. The range of exhibitions is diverse, including architecture, photography, Manga, Video, Animation, contemporary art and so on. The institute introduces artists of all generations, such as Honore Daumier, Jacques Monory, Georges Rousse, Bertrand Lavier, Jiro Takamatsu, Susumu Koshimizu, Aiko Miyawaki, Kishio Suga, Kyoji Takubo, Toshimitsu Imai, Nobuyoshi Araki and newcomers.
