Using art to bring you together with perspective, prayer, peace, personality, and philosophy.
Following on from the opening of the iimonomitsuke Museum last summer, the "P+ART+Y" exhibition is an explosive follow-up. This is an exhibition of communication art based on the artistic concept of "Shinwa," which depending on the reading of its characters can mean 'myth,' 'friendship,' 'the circumference of the heart,' 'the truth of ancient Japan,' or 'new communication.'
11 artists, active in various fields, will come together to show works they have made with the inspiration of Chinese characters or words - and express a social vision of the 21st century. The exhibition was organised in such a way as to encourage visitor participation as well.
Furthermore, during the exhibition period, events such as talk sessions and workshops will be held.
It is hoped that you will come and experience "iimonomitsuke," the gateway to new creations.
