Opened in 1988, the gallery partly functions as a studio for artist from different genres and nationalities and is used as a highly personal space for presentation. In 1993, the gallery was renovated by designer Norihiko Dan and re-opened as "EX LOUNGE", incorporating a Chinese restaurant and a cafe. The 2nd floor gallery space is used for varying purposes including parties, lectures, and live performances.
