Celebrating the artist’s 70th birthday with a special collection of work from this leader of doll making in Japan. Having begun to make dolls during his childhood years he came across the work of Hans Bellmer in 1965 and was further inspired to carry on his practice to a new level, taking pioneering steps within the field. On the occasion of his 70th birthday this exhibition features a select range of 46 works spanning his career.
