Koichi Tanikawa, Chizuru Miyasako
An exhibition featuring two artists: Koichi Tanikawa (b. 1938), who has been active as an artist and art critic from the 1960s, and his wife, Chizuru Miyasako (1947-2008), who is known as an artist and essayist. Together with a choice selection of existing works such as paintings full of bright colors and objects based on the themes of their daily life at their studio in Izu Kogen, their views of nature, and their yearnings for native cultures, the latest works by Tanikawa will are displayed facing the sea and flooded with sunlight.
