The Tokyo Fuji Museum of Art, located in Hachioji, Tokyo, is one of Japan’s leading museums that houses about 30,000 excellent works of art in various genres, such as paintings, prints, photographs, and crafts from the east and west of Kokin.

This exhibition introduces about 60 carefully selected Japanese art masterpieces, mainly in the Edo period, when the aesthetic sense unique to Japan flourished from the various collections of the museum. In addition to paintings such as Kano school and Rinpa school (Den Tawaraya sect, Suzuki Soichi), strange school (Ito Jakuchu, Soga Xiaojiro), Ukiyo-e (Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Hiroshige), literary paintings (Ike Daimasa, Watanabe Kazan), From various fields such as crafts and armor, famous treasures and gem that can be seen in textbooks are displayed. Through the keywords that characterize Japanese art, such as “Kimokawa”, “Samurai”, “Design”, “Golden”, and “Mt. Fuji”, the exhibition will be an exhibition where you can enjoy the fertile world in an easy-to-understand manner.
