Hazan Itaya
An exhibition celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of ceramic artist Hazan Itaya. Hazan's strong belief that no compromises would be allowed in order to create ideal works of art resulted in many elegant and graceful pieces. On the other hand, he also loved his hometown and valued living in harmony with them. This exhibition will introduce the cultural background of Chikusei, Hazan's hometown, his personality, and his interaction with the citizens.
