Golden Kamui" (serialized in Weekly Young Jump), a very popular manga by manga artist Satoru Noda, is set in Hokkaido and Karafuto at the end of the Meiji period. A large-scale exhibition will be held to highlight the manga's adventure, history, culture, gourmet food, and hunting.

The exhibition will feature over 120 illustrations as well as many related materials such as folk tools that appeared in the work. The exhibition will present a space where visitors can experience the dynamism of former soldier Saichi Sugimoto and the Ainu girl Asilipa, who initiated the battle for the gold nuggets and relive the journey that they followed.
