Minimal art and conceptual art are the two major artistic trends in the 1960s and 70s. Under these trends, many experimental works were created beyond the conventional frameworks of those such as paintings and sculptures. This exhibition looks back on the art scenes of those years, mainly through the works formerly owned by Konrad Fischer, who opened a gallery to introduce minimal and conceptual artworks that were rarely open to the public then.
This exhibition is co-organized by and based on works from the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen.
